Just wanted to add that for level 300 armorsmiths, the Enchanted Thorium Platemail books (from combining the top and bottom halves of Advanced Armorsmithing Volumes) also award 500 rep when you hand them in. Plans are easily available on AH, or during the many runs of Scholo/Strath/DM/LBRS you will make while grinding this anyway. And all these instances drop the Pristine Black Diamonds. I don't know yet whether these quests are repeatable though.
