Its Good To Be King

From Tarvis
First of all, your guide has been my bible for the last few weeks, and I'm glad that I stumbled across it first. I read in the 2.2.2 section about running Dire Maul that killing King Gordok doesn't serve a purpose. On the contrary, it DOES serve a purpose. If you aren't an engineer and you can't drop scrapbots to sell all of the vendor trash/BoP items, and you don't have the Reins of the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth, you can always go kill King Gordok when your bags are close to full. When you kill him, all of the Gordok mobs in the instance will become friendly, including the drunk ogre at the beginning named Stomper Kreeg, who conveniently happens to be a vendor. He's located on the north wall of the first courtyard room, where you fight Guard Mol'dar. It's good to be king!
